Venersborg Cemetery
Introduction
Updated in 2026
The Venersborg Cemetery was established in 1914 through the purchase of two acres of land from the Swedish Land and Colonization Company. There are 96 family plots and 26 single plots. It is supported by Clark County Cemetery District 6. It is located about seven miles north of the city of Battle Ground. It was often referred to as the Swedish Cemetery. Its primary residents are of Swedish and Finnish heritage. The name of the cemetery means “friendly haven” in Swedish.
You will find an updated inventory of the burials in the cemetery. The information for the burials come from a variety of public genealogical sources.
We want to thank CCGS volunteer Tanaka Axberg for her work in researching the burials in the cemetery.
