This is a compilation of information about pioneers who settled in, or were born in, Clark County prior to 1889, Washington state’s statehood.
It was our desire to include some information on each of the original Donation Land Claim holders of Clark County. With the passing of time, county boundaries have changed, and some of the areas that were once part of Clark County Donation Land claims now lie in Skamania and Cowlitz counties.
