The “VANCOUVER REGISTER” has been abstracted from microfilm on file at the Fort Vancouver Library, Vancouver, Washington and the original copies at the Clark County Historical Society, also Vancouver.
Both the microfilm and original copies have been researched. Apparently, additional copies of this newspaper have been located. The film at the library was changed and the additional issues found. They have been abstracted in this edition. The newspaper contained information for all the readers; abstracts will usually contain only Clark County names.
