CCGS Class - North/South Migration: 1754 Mission Land Grant Era
November 4, 2025 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Clark County Genealogical Society, 3205 NE 52nd St, Vancouver, WA 98663, USA
Presented by Marcia Grubb and Karen South
How many among us are immigrants from California? Quite a few certainly. We often focus on late 18th century history with the westward trek from Atlantic Coast settlements, but early pioneers also traveled between Alta California (and Baja California) and Oregon Territory during that same time frame.
California-born Marcia Grubb will lead the class. Karen South was born in California and has ancestors who were early San Diego pioneers.
Time will be available after class for those wanting research assistance.
Register online here or call/visit the library to sign-up. You may also register upon arriving for class.
Members $15 / non-members $20
