Reminder About CCGS Inclement Weather Policy
The CCGS Library observes Vancouver School District (VSD) closures in the case of inclement weather. The Library will close if VSD is closed for the day. But if VSD in on a late start schedule, the Library will remain open as usual.General Meeting: The Forgotten Veterans of Brush Prairie Cemetery

Peri Muhich will share the remarkable efforts of the Fort Vancouver Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to honor veterans buried at Brush Prairie Cemetery. The chapter adopted the cemetery, placing flags on veterans’ graves for Memorial Day and Veterans Day and cleaning their headstones. During this work, they identified 11 veterans with temporary markers or no headstones. With the leadership of Ruth Morgan, chair of the Veterans Flag Committee, and collaboration with DAR members, American Veterans Post 16, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, the chapter has placed 10 new headstones since November 2023.Class: Turning PowerPoint into a Family Story
