Clark County, Washington, Index to Naturalizations February 1890 - September 1906 is a combined index of naturalization records created to cover the period between the courthouse fire of February 1890 through September 1906. This index was compiled from original naturalization records (Declaration of Intentions, Record of Final Papers/Citizenship, and loose papers) located at the Washington State Archives, Southwest Regional Branch in Olympia.

JOHN TATE WINSTON OF GREEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY documents the life of John Tate Winston and his descendants. John, born in Virginia about 1776, arrived in Green County, Kentucky, in 1806 with his wife, the former Elizabeth Garland Anderson. Known descendants of John number 1,077 and have been traced through the ninth generation. By the third generation, descendents were living in Kentucky, Missouri, and Texas. They now reside in at least 32 different states, with many of them still remaining in the Green County (as well as present day Taylor County) area.


The 8 1/2" x 11", 325-page hard bound book contains names, vital statistics, narrative, census abstracts, extracts from documents, photographs dating prior to 1925, and memories of family members. The first five generations are well documented, with much of the information on the later generations being provided by family members. The book contains an every-name index.

NORDQUIST is the history of Charles John Nordquist (1862-1923), born Carl Johan Larsson in Sweden) and his wife, Anna Mathilda Backstrom (1877-1958), who resided in Rhinelander, Oneida County, Wisconsin. It is a 170-page soft cover book, which contains names, dates, charts, maps, and documents. Plus over 200 photographs! It is fully indexed.


Some of Charles Nordquist's Swedish ancestors are traced back to the late 1600's. Anna Mathilda Backstrom's Finnish ancestors go back to the 1700's.
