Unknown photos - can you help?

Can you identify the subjects in
any of the photos below?
In some cases, we have names and
would like to connect the photos with their descendants!

Another photo that needs some identification!
This is another photo from Ron Adams. He writes: "Have you ever seen a piece of equipment like this?? It says "King Junior" on the frame.

Also, I do not recognize this uniform. Maybe a lodge??

Any help is appreciated.

Ron"

He gave the photo the title of "James Isaac Uniform." and he says Photo circa 1900.

Strange machine!

Another puzzling photo from Ron Adams. What kind of a uniform is this fellow wearing? Is it military or something else?

W.M. & Reta (Wood) Smallwood

Another unknown photo donated to us!
This old photo - possibly from about 1900 - does have the name Mary Bowen Eldridge written on the back. We hope, with some research, we can return it to some family member. It is 10 1/2 x 17 inches. If you can help, please contact us.

This picture is from Ron Adams of Upland, CA. He had many relatives in Clark County including the Wood family. The lady in the center (with the X) is Rebecca Wood.

This photo was most likely taken in Clark County as the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) was an active group in this area for many years. Ron would like to get the identity of others in the group and the date the photo was taken.

GAR Relief Corps

This picture is from Beth Cross. It was from an event dated Nov 6, 1930, apparently in Camas. The writing on the front of the picture says "Aunt Lucia's Flapper Chours" and Nelsen Studio, Camas, Wash. Be aware these are not all women! Can anyone identify these people? Perhaps there will be a story in the Camas Post-Record from that era.

Aunt Lucia's Flapper Chours

These two photos came from an antique shop and were donated to CCGS. Each came with a paper "frame" and a name and dates but it is unknown which identification went with which picture! Apparently both were Noble Grand's possibly of the Odd Fellows.

The identification on the pictures:
Hamilton Johnson
Inititated: November 12, 1863
Noble Grand - April to October 1867

John F. Schulz,
Initiated March 7, 1867
Noble Grand -

This is a photo of a soldier, taken at Elite Studios in Washington. A man in Canada asked that we post it here. If you can identify the subject, please let us know and we will contact him.

Unidentified soldier

The photo linked below is of four women on horses. It belongs to Glen Jones and he added this note with the picture: "This is an unidentified photo I have in my family photos. I am guessing it was taken around 1910 possibly in the Disston Oregon Area as my grandfather Arthur Herbert Barber was a logger in that area."

If you can identify the subjects, please let us know.

Unknown group

Posted below are some unidentified photos that are believed to be of Clark County families. If you recognize any of them, please contact our webmaster with the information. The pictures below are from Lisa Davis who still resides in Missouri.

Her comments are:
"The photos are associated with the Davis family, and the View area possibly, that is James Mordecai Davis and his wife Delila. The families that the children married into were: Wilson, McFadden, Meade, Strange, South, Ritchey, Johnson, Morgan, Walden, Serderberg, Baker, Anderson, and Moe. A few people in other photos are named but we have no idea how or if they fit into the family."
