"KNOW BEFORE YOU GO"
Meets at 10 AM on the 3rd Monday of the month. Discussion on the many ways to prepare yourself for a research trip. Preplanning is essential to get the most from your research. Come join us, share ideas and get ready for your genealogy adventure no matter how big or small. Also: Planning for a trip to the Family History Library
Meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 12 PM after the Legacy group. There are many "research rich" books of genealogical historical collections, as well as "how to" books on methods, collections and data storage of genealogy research. This group delves into one book at a time and discusses how to make the best use of it. Join in the reading and discussion as this casual group tackles books on family history discovery and sleuthing. (Brown baggers are welcome)
The Legacy Users Group meets to discuss the use of the Legacy Family Tree genealogical software program. We meet from 10:00AM - 12:00N on the first Monday of the month next door to the Clark County Genealogical Society library. We may not meet if weather is bad or the date falls on a holiday. Check the calendar for last-minute schedule changes. Contact us if you have any questions.
