The following classes are scheduled for the spring curriculum:
All classes meet in CCGS Education Center, 715 Grand Blvd., Vancouver.
Unless marked Free, classes are $12 for CCGS members and $15 for non-members.

Getting Started Tracing Your Family Roots

Instructor Brian Runyan
This class will get you started researching your family tree.
Topics include collecting information from the family,
family group sheets, pedigree charts, genealogy database programs and best research practices.
Irish Records Researching

Are you one of over 50 million Americans with Irish heritage? Come learn about
all of the new resources available in the last two years, plus a few often
overlooked sources. Bring your laptop or tablet and "bookmark" sites as we
explore them together.

Instructor Lethene Parks
The Who, Why and How of Your Family’s Migration. We will talk about migrations: why
people migrated; their modes of travel; and the routes traveled. You will choose one of
your family lines and together we will learn some research techniques that will give you
a new perspective and as well provide clues for further research. You will want to bring
your device so you can access your database or bring printed materials you have on
your chosen family line.
